Kolos (Boryspil) / Olimpiyets (Lyubotyn)

Kolos Stadium is a working ground in Boryspil. It sits on land where a football field first appeared in 1935, long before the concrete grandstands were poured in the late 1940s. The structure has kept its original name through every political shift, ignoring a proposal to honour Viktor Kolotov in 2009.

A major reconstruction replaced the old terraces with individual plastic seating, cutting the capacity from 7,500 to 5,654. This upgrade allowed FC Borysfen Boryspil to host matches in the Ukrainian Premier League for over a decade. The capacity record of 6,500 still belongs to that era, set during a match against Dynamo Kyiv in April 2005.

The stadium has served as a temporary home for several teams unable to secure proper facilities elsewhere. FC Arsenal Kyiv played almost the entire 2009–10 season here after failing to find a suitable ground in the capital. FC Mariupol also used the pitch during the 2023/24 campaign. Beyond football, the site hosts youth national team qualifiers and, unusually, international dog training championships. The adjacent field hockey arena, fitted with artificial turf in the early 2000s, remains a functional part of the complex, housing one of Ukraine’s most decorated women’s clubs. The grass on the main pitch is natural.
