The stadium in Žiar nad Hronom opened in 1957 and carried the town's football through decades under FK Žiar nad Hronom before that club's run at the venue ended in 2012. The gates were effectively idle for five years, a stadium without a resident tenant, until FK Pohronie took it over in 2017.
Between those two chapters came the rebuild.
At Partizánska 154/10 , the ground is a lower-tier venue built for a lower-tier club rather than for crowds. FK Pohronie now list it as their home, and the club's own site carries the current fixture and matchday information.
