Middelfart Stadion (Middelfart Sparekasse Stadion)

The pitch is the thing people mention first at Middelfart Stadion. It is natural grass, and match reports have called it heavy.

The ground stands at Adlerhusvej, on the edge of a town whose football fits inside a single club. Middelfart Boldklub plays here, and the venue holds 4,100.

Its name comes in two versions and both are in use. The traditional one is Middelfart Stadion. The other, Middelfart Sparekasse Stadion, comes from the local savings bank that sponsors the ground; supporters keep to the shorter form.

The club's history reaches back past this site. Its previous facilities on Færøvej were taken into use in 1970, with a clubhouse finished two years later, and the move from there is the line that connects the older Middelfart Boldklub to the one now playing at Adlerhusvej.
