Stadium
Mittelschulhalle
Altdorf bei Nürnberg, Germany
TV 1881 Altdorf e.V. operates out of the hall. While the football club, 1. FC Altdorf 1946, plays its outdoor matches at the Gemeindesportplatz Schützenmatte, the indoor teams have carved out a space in the national tiers. The women’s volleyball side, known as the *Damen*, competes in the 2. Bundesliga Süd. The women’s handball team also utilises the space for home fixtures.
The sources do not record when the hall was constructed or first opened its doors.
The ground is quiet. There is no roar from a terraced stand, only the echo of shoes on a sprung floor.
