Pärnu Rannastaadion

Rannastaadion carries a wooden grandstand that ranks among the finest examples of timber functionalism in Estonia, raised in 1933 by architect Olev Siinmaa with engineer N. That stewardship ended in 2012, when the city of Pärnu withdrew Kalev's rights, opened the site to a design competition and set a rebuild in motion.

The reconstruction ran through 2015 and 2016, with KAMP Arhitektid drawing up the new stadium, and the finished ground reopened on 9 July 2016 under the name it still carries today, Pärnu Rannastaadion. The pitch itself has stayed natural grass throughout.

The stadium sits under the Pärnu Spordikeskus, the city's sports centre, which runs the venue without a separate site of its own — anyone looking for it online lands on the sports centre's pages. It stands at Ranna pst 2, close to the town's beach.
