Percy Doyle Reserve

Percy Doyle Reserve sits in the suburb of Duncraig, within the City of Joondalup local government area, in Perth, Western Australia. The facility, owned by the City of Joondalup, has served as a sporting and recreational hub since the 1970s, evidenced by the early establishment of its primary tenants and the opening of the Duncraig Library in July 1974.

This ground is defined by its community scale, holding approximately 5,000 spectators. The surface is natural grass, maintained across three soccer fields and an AFL oval, alongside 20 tennis courts and six lawn bowl greens. The pavilion provides undercover standing room, and a spectator hill offers an unstructured viewing area.

The venue has hosted a variety of sports over the decades, including tennis, lawn bowls, tee-ball, and basketball. It currently serves as the home ground for Sorrento Football Club, who play in the National Premier League Western Australia, and Joondalup United FC. In recent years, the reserve was selected as a base camp for teams during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, a period when it also hosted matches such as an FFA Cup Round of 32 contest between Sorrento FC and Canberra Olympic, which drew 1,112 spectators.

While the City of Joondalup manages information through its general website rather than a standalone portal for the reserve, the ground itself has seen significant investment. This includes a recent $8.1 million upgrade for the Duncraig Adventure Hub, which opened in September 2025 and features a skate park and bike track, as well as earlier refurbishment works allocated in the 2018-19 budget.

Located at 40 Warwick Road, Duncraig WA 6023, the reserve remains a functional space for local competition and training.
