Skovshoved Idrætspark

Skovshoved IF had been playing for thirteen years before it had this ground. The order matters — the club arrived first, the ground was built to hold it.

That address has stuck so firmly that the formal name is often skipped and the pitch is called Banen ved Krøyersvej , the pitch at Krøyersvej. It is not a former name and never was a sponsor's; it is simply what you say when everyone already knows which pitch you mean. The official name, Skovshoved Idrætspark , has barely moved in a century of use.
