Sportplatz Rankmatte

The pitch at Rankmatte sits on ground with a high water table. When Мюллер Вильдбольц Партнер and Люшер Эгли Аркитектен took the ground on in 2018, the work ran to 2020.

Швейцарская Первая лига sets ground standards, and regular visitors remember the turf.

There is no running track, so the stands sit close to the touchline. Floodlights are installed, which matters more here than the seat count: it lets ФК Лангенталь and the two reserve sides, Лангенталь II and Лангенталь III, share one pitch across a full week of fixtures rather than losing evenings to darkness.

The club has been at it since 1902, longer than any documented life of the ground itself. An earlier round of infrastructure work ran through 2014–2016, tied to a Pensionskasse Solothurn project, so the current configuration is the product of two building phases inside six years rather than one grand scheme.

The name has not changed: Sportplatz Rankmatte, or simply Rankmatte, at Вальдхофштрассе 13.
