SŠ Pedagogická

The ground at Lidická 448/14 is not the secondary school that shares the district’s name. It is a football stadium built in 1963, opened to serve the local club FC Slavia Karlovy Vary. It sits in the same neighbourhood as the Pedagogická school, but the two share only a postcode and a street name.

The pitch is covered with artificial turf. The original running track around the field and the floodlights that once lit evening matches have been removed, leaving an open rectangle surrounded by low concrete barriers.

Slavia play their league games here in the fourth tier of Czech football. The club’s website is fcslaviakv.cz, though the stadium itself has no independent presence online. There is no attendance record for a single match that has been preserved or published.

Other venues in Karlovy Vary carry heavier histories. Atletický stadion Karlovy Vary opened in 1949, held 20,000 people, and staged cycling stages of the Peace Race before it prepares to host the Czech Athletics Championships in 2026. The KV Arena seats 7,500 and belongs to the ice hockey team HC Energie Karlovy Vary.
