Stadion Miejski im. Bronisława Malinowskiego
Grudziądz, Poland
Formerly: Stadion Miejski, Stadion Centralny
The ground at ul. Piłsudskiego 14 in Grudziądz.
The stadium was built to replace a 1925 ground on ul. Parkowej, and for decades it served Olimpia Grudziądz as both Stadion Miejski and Stadion Centralny. It was renamed in memory of Bronisław Malinowski, an Olympic steeplechaser from the town who died in a car crash in 1981. The new name is used in official contexts, though the exact date of the change is unclear. The capacity has settled at 5,323 seats, a figure that varies slightly in older records but remains consistent in recent reports.
The stadium is now owned by the City of Grudziądz and managed by the Municipal Recreation and Leisure Center. The current renovation budget exceeds 17.8 million PLN, focused on drainage and thermal upgrades rather than increasing the number of seats.
