Thomas-Stangassinger-Sportanlage

The artificial pitch at the Thomas-Stangassinger-Sportanlage was ready by mid-November 2012, laid over a 17-month build carried out by Salzburg Wohnbau GmbH. The ground itself did not host its formal opening until October 2014, once the clubhouse and stands were finished.

From 1963 to 2004 it operated as the Olympia-Sportanlage, named after the old club SK Olympia Hallein. It was later rebuilt as the indoor Rupert-Köpf-Halle, which stood until 2012, when it was demolished to clear space for the current complex.

UFC Hallein, formed from the Union Sport Club Hallein, plays here, alongside its junior side, UFC Hallein Juniors; FC Hallein 04 also used the ground previously. The 1,330 seats sit inside a facility at Pingitzzerkai 22.
