Vallensbæk Idrætscenter

The football pitch at Vallensbæk Idrætscenter is one item on a longer list. Two sports halls stand on the same ground, together with tennis courts, petanque pistes and an outdoor track for roller skating, between 1978 and 1979 at Idræts Allé. The Danish Roller Cup speed skating meetings come back to the outdoor track year after year, Vallensbæk'25 among them, and the halls carry handball and local gatherings alongside whatever the football calendar brings.

The football tenant is Vallensbæk Idrætsforening af 1939 , VI39 for short, which has used the pitch for many years and gives the site its umbrella organisation. INVICTUS XI plays lower-division matches on the same artificial surface. For a period the venue carried a sponsor's name, Van Overeem Investment .

The largest football occasion on record came in June 2020, when the ground was given the DBU U18 Pige Pokal Finale , the Danish U18 girls' cup final.
