Stadium
Vechtetalhalle
Schüttorf, Germany
The name on the record does not match the place.
While the Emlichheim venue opened in 1997 and hosts concerts alongside sport, the Schüttorf hall is quieter, dedicated to the men’s volleyball side that competes in the 2. Bundesliga Nord. The confusion persists in public records.
There is no public information about its initial construction date, nor is there a capacity figure that can be verified.
For those following the regional league, the destination is Schüttorf, but the correct name is the Vechtehalle. The Vechtetalhalle remains in Emlichheim, a separate entity entirely.
Vechtehalle is the working name for the Schüttorf facility. The other hall is a different building, different town, and different tenant.
