Cowdenbeath — East Kilbride: 1:3, Challenge Cup

East Kilbride secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Cowdenbeath in the Call Cup Group Stage - 2 on Monday evening. The visitors dominated proceedings from start to finish, putting the home side under relentless pressure throughout the contest. L. McGrattan opened the scoring early on, then added a second to complete his brace before C. Elliott sealed the win from the penalty spot.

McGrattan gave East Kilbride the lead in the sixth minute, capitalising on a defensive lapse. Cowdenbeath responded with a goal of their own through M. Williamson in the 42nd minute, but the visitors quickly restored their advantage. McGrattan struck again in the 77th minute, and Elliott converted his penalty shortly after to make it 3-1.
