Chindia cruise past Afumeni with three goals in win
Chindia beat Afumeni 3-0 in the third round of Liga II on Friday. The away side took the lead in the fifth minute when R. Mihai fired home, and C. Negut added a second in the twentieth before half-time. The visitors sealed the match with a third goal from Negut in the ninetieth minute.
Afumeni had more territory but struggled to convert. They recorded 116 attacks compared to Chindia's 91, and enjoyed 57 percent possession. Yet they managed only seven shots on target while Chindia netted three goals from three attempts on target.
The visitors were reduced to ten players late on. C. Robicek picked up a yellow card in the forty-sixth minute, and A. Baluta was cautioned for Afumeni in the forty-third.
