Crusaders beat Tribe 41-14 in the regular season on Saturday evening. The visitors dominated throughout, scoring on both sides of the ball. The hosts could not keep up with the pace.
Tribes recent run has been difficult. They lost 62-7 to the Blue Devils last week, then fell 52-27 to the Rams before that. Three straight defeats to close their last five games.
Crusaders came in with mixed form. They beat the Leopards 38-30 in their last meeting, but lost to the Bulldogs 38-28 before that. They had also dropped 45-7 to the RedHawks.
The 27-point margin tells the story. Tribe managed just one touchdown while the visitors found the end zone four times. The hosts did not travel to make up the numbers, but that was not the issue here.
This result extends Crusaders' momentum after beating the Leopards. Tribe now have three losses in their last four games and will need to turn things around quickly.
