Stjarnan secured a 3-2 victory over Valur Reykjavik in the Úrvalsdeild's seventeenth round on Sunday evening. By then, the hosts had looked comfortable enough after M. Veldman's strike in the eightieth minute, but three goals in the final twelve minutes turned the match on its head. To be fair, the visitors had created more clear-cut opportunities throughout the ninety, and it showed when the game opened up.
