Isiah Pacheco Out About 12 Weeks After Back Surgery
The Lions running back had a loose body removed from near a nerve in his back and is expected to return in early December, coach Dan Campbell said.
Isiah Pacheco will miss around 12 weeks after back surgery, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported. The Detroit running back is expected to return in early December.
Surgeons removed a loose body that was pressing on a nerve in Pacheco's back.
"It's going to be a while. I can't give you an exact timeline, but he's going to miss a significant amount of time," said Lions head coach Dan Campbell.
Pacheco had already been on injured reserve with a knee MCL injury and back trouble that surfaced during training camp. Detroit signed the 27-year-old in the offseason after trading David Montgomery to Houston. He spent his first four seasons in Kansas City, winning two Super Bowls.
