Jhair Soto has built his career at ADT, and it is there that he scored an 85th-minute winner in the closing stages of the Liga 1 Clausura, on 26 September 2025, that gave ADT a 1-0 victory over Alianza Atlético. He struck against the same opponent again in the Apertura.
Soto has moved between ADT's reserve side, in the Torneo de Promoción y Reservas, and the first team, a path that has kept him involved in senior football while still developing. In the Torneo Apertura, he made 13 appearances, starting 12 of them, and picked up a single yellow card.
His form drew outside interest in mid-2025, when reports linked him with a move to Alianza Lima. Both ADT and Alianza Lima denied any such deal was in motion, and Soto's future stayed tied to ADT. Born in the Rímac district of Lima, he remains part of the Peruvian football system, with his development so far tied almost entirely to his time at ADT.
