About the player
Lina Altenburg made her Bundesliga debut for Eintracht Frankfurt Women in September 2025. Born in Bensheim, she took her first steps in the game at TSV Auerbach before Eintracht Frankfurt brought her into their youth setup in August 2018. From there she worked through the club's U15 and U17 sides in the Bundesliga Süd, then spent four years with Eintracht Frankfurt II in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga, signing her first professional contract with the senior club in 2024.
Her clearest achievement so far came with Germany's U17s. Altenburg won the UEFA Women's U17 Championship in 2022, and that same year she went to India for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. She has since added a cap for the U19 side in 2024 and one for the U23s, though a first call-up to the senior national team has not yet followed. Further back, she was part of the Hessian U14 selection that won the Länderpokal in 2019.
At club level, she has not won silverware.
