About the player
Norbert Barczak broke into senior football through Górnik Zabrze, having arrived at the club's academy in 2020 after starting out at Polonia Przemyśl and Beniaminek Krosno. He made his Ekstraklasa debut for Górnik in October 2023, and in February 2025 he signed an extension with the club running to June 2026.
The turning point came with a loan spell at Polonia Bytom in the second half of the 2024/25 season, where the right-back helped the club win the 1. Liga and secure promotion to the Ekstraklasa. He was sent out on loan again for 2025/26, this time to Puszcza Niepołomice. In July 2026 his path took a further turn as he joined Korona Kielce on a permanent transfer, signing a contract to 2029.
Barczak has also built a record at youth international level with Poland, representing the under-18s, under-19s and under-20s. He made his U-18 debut in March 2023 against Bulgaria, later featured for the U-19s in qualifying matches against Kazakhstan and Germany, and has scored for the U-20 side, netting against Romania in March 2026.
