About the player
Pedro Martins is a product of Sport Recife's own academy, joining the club in 2018 and winning the Campeonato Pernambucano Sub-20 with the youth side before working his way into the first team. His senior debut came in the club's state competitions and in the Copa do Nordeste, and by 2021 he had taken his first steps in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, making three appearances that season.
It was in 2023 that Pedro Martins established himself as a regular starter, playing 31 matches in the Série B campaign and helping Sport Recife lift the Campeonato Pernambucano title that year. In 2025 he moved on loan to Chapecoense, where he found consistent playing time, appearing in 33 matches across the Campeonato Catarinense and the Série B.
Pedro Martins returned to Sport Recife in January 2026. He has represented Brazil at youth level, though he has not been capped by the senior national side.
