Arys

The one line worth remembering came in 2019, when the club still played under the old identity in Arys: top of the Second League's southern zone, a promotion earned outright rather than backed into. A second-place finish in the First League's southern conference followed in 2020, and that carried the team into the Premier League for 2021 — a single season among Kazakhstan's elite that ended in 14th place and relegation. That version of the club, built up through Kostuin's renaming in 2004, closed out its history there: after 2021 it was rebranded as Turan and moved to Turkestan, taking its place in the top flight with it.

What plays under the Arys name now is a separate club, founded in 2022 and unconnected to that promotion run except by geography and colours. It started in the Second League's south-west zone, finished sixth, then moved up to the First League in 2023 and has stayed there since. Games are played at the Central Stadium, known locally as the Lokomotiv ground. Mukhamed Saduakas led the scoring in 2026 with four goals. Galymzhan Yessenbayev has coached the side since 2024, working with a squad built entirely of young Kazakhstani players.
