«Big Red»
The Morgan Athletic Club took the field in Chicago in 1898. It joined the NFL as a charter member in 1920, then spent the next century moving twice more — to St Louis in 1960, and to Arizona in 1988, settling at State Farm Stadium in Glendale in 2006.
No franchise in American professional football has run continuously for longer. Eight decades on, it remains the longest active championship drought in North American professional sport.
Larry Fitzgerald is the name attached to the modern era more than any other. He played his entire career in Arizona, had his number 11 retired by the club, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2026.
