Lars Lundkvist took a coaching job at Brabrand IF. That gap between the résumé and the badge on the shirt tells most of the story: Brabrand has spent its history in the lower tiers of Danish football.
A group of young local entrepreneurs founded Brabrand Idrætsforening af 1934 on 23 July 1934, running athletics, football and gymnastics for men, with women's handball added soon after; membership in those first years stood at around fifty. That came on 6 October 1966, when the 1934 association merged with the local badminton club and an athletics group called SISU, later joined by the tennis club, to form Brabrand IF as it stands today.
Home games are played at Brabrand Stadion, which holds 1,000, in a blue shirt with white shorts.
