FA 2000

Frederiksberg Idrætspark sits at the heart of the club's identity before anything else does: it now holds 5,000 spectators, with 1,008 of those seats under cover, and the pitch is shared with Kjøbenhavns Boldklub.

FA 2000 came together on 7 September 1999, when three local sections merged into one: Boldklubben Dalgas, founded in 1922, Boldklubben af 1972, and the football section of Frederiksberg Kammeraternes Idræts Forening. Jan Busk, who had led FKIF, took the chair of the combined club, and the new name carried the coming year straight into its letters.

The club plays in a red shirt with blue shorts trimmed in white, and it has never put a cup or a league title in its cabinet. Its ceiling has been the 2nd Division, the third tier of the Danish system, where it competed from 2018 to 2022 before relegation in 2024 dropped it to the fourth tier for 2024/25. In the Danish Cup, the furthest FA 2000 has gone is the first round, in 2009/10, going out 0-2 to Allerød FK. Loan players have passed through from Superliga academies on occasion — Oliver Tøllbøll Rimmen came on loan from FC Nordsjælland — but no academy graduate of its own has gone on to make a name at the top level.

There is no derby with a name attached. What FA 2000 has instead is Frederiksberg Boldklub, sharing the same stadium and the same stretch of the city, and the regular local meetings with BK Frem and Vanløse IF that pass for rivalry here.
