Eleven Wonders

Along the road between Techiman and its neighbours, the Bono derby settles more than a table: Eleven Wonders' matches against Aduana Stars, Berekum Chelsea and Bechem United carry the weight of the whole Bono East region, four clubs pulling at the same stretch of the Ghana Premier League.

Getting there took two attempts. Eleven Wonders first reached the top flight in 2017, after winning the Division One League's Zone One, and stayed only long enough to be relegated. The second promotion, in 2025, followed three years back in the second tier and came through a playoff final against Real Tamale United, won 2–1. Ishmael Addo had already given the club a name before any of that: the striker joined in 2015 and is still remembered as its defining forward.

The years between the two promotions were not settled, either. In 2019 the Seedorf Soccerlink Academy and Agency took over the club and renamed it Techiman Benfica, a rebrand that did not last before Eleven Wonders returned.

Home games belong to Ohene Ameyaw Park, a ground of 2,000 seats where red sleeves on white shirts have marked out the Sure Wonders for longer than the club has spent among Ghana's elite.
