JS Kabylie

The finals column stands at eleven, more than any other club has reached in the Algerian Cup, and JS Kabylie has most recently won in 2011. That habit of turning up in deciders travelled south of the Sahara as well: between 2000 and 2002 the club won the CAF Cup three years running, and it had already lifted the CAF Champions League twice, in 1981 against AS Vita Club and in 1990 against Nkana Red Devils, either side of a lost final to Zamalek in 1984. A third continental final followed in 2010, lost to TP Mazembe, and an eleventh in 2021, when Raja Casablanca beat them 2–1 in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Domestically the club has taken the Algerian Ligue 1 fourteen times, with some of those championships won under earlier names, JS Kawkabi and JE Tizi Ouzou, before administrative changes settled the club back into its familiar identity.

The yellow and green kit gave the club its nickname, Les Canaris, though supporters in Tizi Ouzou know it as often by the mountains that overlook the city, Les Lions du Djurdjura. For forty-six years, from 1978, the club played at the 1 November 1954 Stadium; in 2024 it moved into the Hocine Aït Ahmed Stadium, on the edge of the Kabylie town it has represented since 1946.
