KAC Soccer

The pitch has hosted the club under two identities: the side began life in 2018 as Baffour Soccer Academy, and only took its current name, Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh Soccer Academy, in 2024.

That academy character has stayed the point of the club even as the name changed. Enock Okain came through the ranks as a winger before his move to Serbian side FK Jedinstvo in 2025. Closer to home, forward Leslie Aryeetey delivered a hat-trick against Debibi United, then top of the table, in a 3-2 win during the 2024/25 season.

KAC have no league titles or major honours to show from their short history, and in a second-tier zone built around Sunyani and its neighbours, with promotion the more realistic target than silverware. Macron supplies the home kit for 2025-26, a striped shirt that gives the side a look distinct from Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the Premier League club that shares the KAC initials but nothing else.

For now, Sunyani remains the whole of it: a park ground in the Bono Region, and a Zone One B campaign played out in front of whoever the city sends to Coronation Park.
