Kukurantumi Ohene Park sits in the Eastern Region town that gives it its name, and Golden Warriors FC share the ground with Koforidua Semper Fi FC, another side from the same zone — two tenants, one pitch.

The team spent the 2024/25 season in the Eastern Regional Division Two League, in the group known as the Middle League, and went through it unbeaten, finishing with 13 points. That record was enough for the title, confirmed in May 2025, and with it promotion to the Access Bank Division One League, where Golden Warriors now play in Zone Three.

Division One brought an early test in the FA Cup, where the club lost to Home Stars FC in November 2025.

Cosmos Gamor Akorli took charge for the 2025/26 season.
