Komárno Women

Promotion, when it came, was not close. Komárňanky finished the 2023/24 second-division campaign eight points clear of Partizán Bardejov, sealing the title with a 9-0 win over Futbalová komunita Kozmos on 8 June 2024 and taking the club into the top-flight I. Liga for the first time.

The women's section of KFC Komárno had existed since 2018, working its way through the second tier before that breakthrough. Eugen Nagy (ml.) took the team up and stayed on for that debut campaign.

The club plays purple and white and answers to Komárňanky.

There is no fixture the women's team calls its own derby — that belongs to the men's side of the club, whose meetings with DAC Dunajská Streda are known locally as the Danube Island derby.

Peter Medgyes took over the bench for 2025/26, with Boglárka Vincze and Križan assisting.
