Ohrid

In 1946 several local sides sharing the same lakeside town — OSK, Ohridski Branovi, Jugoslavija, Rashanec and Gradjanski — combined into a single club, FK Ohrid, itself the successor to OSK Ohrid, founded in 1921.

The club has never reached the top flight's summit, and its best league finish remains eighth in the 1994/95 season of the Macedonian First League. What honours exist sit lower down: the Second League title in 1993/94, Third League wins in 2006/07 and 2018/19, and a runner-up spot in the Second League in 2010/11. The one trophy that stands apart came earlier still, in the Yugoslav era, when Ohrid lifted the Cup of the Republic of Macedonia in 1973.

Money has been the more persistent opponent. Debts and delayed payments have repeatedly put the club at odds with the football federation, a pattern that has shaped its recent seasons as much as anything on the pitch. Nicknamed the Fishermen, in blue and white, the side plays at SRC Biljanini Izvori. In the current 2025/26 campaign, while competing in the Second League, Ohrid reached the semi-final of the Macedonian Cup.
