San Martin De Yacuiba

San Martín de Yacuiba are running unbeaten through the national phase of the Copa Simón Bolívar, Bolivia's second tier, after wins over Universitario de Beni and Municipal Tiquipaya set up a meeting with Virginia USC on 6 September 2026. Getting there took some doing: in the regional stage they finished runners-up in the Tarija quadrangular, taking 11 points and dropping just one match, to Universitario de Tarija.

The club, known around Yacuiba as "El Santo", plays out of the Estadio Federico Ibarra in the Campo Pajoso district.

There is no top-flight history to point to here, no run of titles to lean on. San Martín has operated as a side of the Chaco regional league, using it as a route into national competition rather than as an end in itself.

Roberto Andrés Marinangeli took the team through the qualifying rounds but was let go in late July.
