Municipal Tiquipaya

Tiquipaya's town council put a football school on its books on 20 April 1994, under the mayor Lucio Villazón Gonzales. A different date circulates in international registers, tied to the club's reorganisation after winning the Cochabamba Primera A in 2012–13 and entering the Copa Simón Bolívar.

The nickname, Los Osos, and the white-and-blue colours have stayed with the club through its time in Bolivia's second tier, where a fifth-place finish in 2013–14 and 14th in 2017 mark the ceiling reached so far. The Estadio Sebastián Ramírez, holding around 5,000, has been the stage for that modest run.

What the club has produced more consistently is players rather than results. Adalid Terrazas passed through Tiquipaya on his way to Sport Boys Warnes and Always Ready before earning caps for Bolivia, and the Cameroonian defender Marc Enoumba followed a similar path to Always Ready and the national team. Facing San Antonio Bulo Bulo, from the same municipality, still counts as the club's derby, ahead of matches with Municipal Colcapirhua.

Los Osos have yet to win the Copa Simón Bolívar, or anything else at national level, and a place in the Primera División remains the target the club has talked about.
