Real Oruro

Alexis Bravo scored 22 times in the 2024 Primera A campaign. The forward had already carried the club to the final of the Copa Simón Bolívar that year, a tie lost to ABB 3-2 on aggregate, before the play-off against Royal Pari settled the matter — Royal Pari were later disqualified, and Oruro's place in the División Profesional was confirmed for 2025.

The club traces back to 30 April 1962, when Juan Copaja, from the province of San Pedro de Totora, founded it as Deportivo Totora. It carried that name for decades before a change of identity on 2 February 2022 turned it into Club Deportivo Totora Real Oruro, still known by the shorthand CDT Real Oruro. Carmine red replaced the old green in 2021, chosen to match the colours of the city's flag.

Under president Richard Vásquez, the club won its first title in 2023, beating Sur-Car 4-1 in the Primera A Oruro final. By December 2025, in its debut season among Bolivia's elite, Real Oruro sat 12th with 31 points. The nickname Los Totoreros comes from the totora reeds that grow in the Uru-Uru lagoon and have long been gathered by local people; the Clásico Orureño against GV San José remains the fixture that matters most in the city.

Home games are played at the Estadio Jesús Bermúdez, which holds 33,000.
