Talant

They settled in the Premier League — since renamed the Higher League — from 2022, and neither the championship nor the cup has come their way. Twice they went out at the last-sixteen stage, in 2021 and again in 2022.

The club grew out of a youth sports school in Chuy Province. Two brothers, Azat and Damir Kasymbekov, built a senior side on top of it in 2020 and named it after Damir's father, Talantbek Kasymbekov. In that first season the team was still entered as the youth school's own outfit. Azat runs the club as president, Damir as sporting director.

Since May 2022 the matches have been played at Dostuk Arena, with room for 2,563.

The first goal Talant scored in the Premier League belongs to Suleyman Dzhumabekov.

Tariel Abdukaimov coached the youth school before the senior team existed, then took the side from its founding in 2020 through to December 2022, when his assistant Urmat Abdukaimov replaced him and kept playing in the first eleven. The captain, Zhazybay Abdukaimov, is Tariel's son.
