Team FOG Naestved

In May 2023, Mike McGuirl was named Most Valuable Player of the Basketligaen. The Cup has been kinder. In 2023–24 the club beat Bakken Bears 89–86 to take its second Danish Men's Basketball Cup, a narrow 81–80 win over Horsens IC in 2016–17.

The club's current name only dates to 2002, when Andreas Larsen and Niels Fog bought the naming rights and turned what had been Næstved IF Basket into the basketball arm of Sjælland Sport & Event. The football side of that company mattered more to its owners in the end: in May 2016, the basketball department was sold off to an investor group led by Larsen so the parent company could concentrate on football, and FOG Næstved has run as its own operation since.

Attendance has been the club's other calling card. Arena Næstved seats 2,576 for basketball.
