UDI '19

Uden is a small town in Noord-Brabant with two football clubs that grew up sharing the same ground, and it is UDI '19 that has spent the past quarter-century on the same ground.

The honours list is a ladder, not a trophy cabinet: a Vierde Klasse title in 1947, a Derde Klasse in 1961, Tweede Klasse by 1981, Eerste Klasse by 1991, and the Hoofdklasse three times around the turn of the millennium. That pattern continued into 2025, when the club won Vierde Divisie C and earned promotion to the Derde Divisie. A KNVB Districtsbeker Zuid 2 followed in 2024, won against DAW Schaijk after extra time.

Sponsorship has done as much to the name as the calendar has: UDI'19/Beter Bed for nineteen years from 1998, then UDI'19/CSU until 2024, before a season back under the plain club name and a switch to UDI'19/Swiss Sense from 2025/26. Sportpark Parkzicht, holding 5,000, has stayed constant throughout.

The youth set-up has sent players on rather than kept them, and Adick Koot later played for Lille. FC Uden, the town's other club, began in 1971 on UDI'19's own pitches, using its canteen until it moved out to Sportpark De Vlasakker in 1983 — the two now sit in different divisions and meet only when the cup draw allows it.
