Viktoriya Mykolaivka

Mykolaivka is a small town in the Sumy region.

Viktoriya took the Ukrainian Amateur League title in 2017–18 and again in 2019–20, finished second in between, and in 2021 came up short at the top once more — that second place carried them into the Ukrainian Second League. Vadim Shavrin scored the club's first professional goal that year, against Yarud.

In 2022 Viktoriya merged with Alians Lypova Dolyna and took over their place in the Ukrainian First League; the war delayed the whole thing, and the administration only formally shifted to Sumy in 2023. The club became FC Viktoriya Sumy and began playing at the Yuvileiny Stadium.

His replacement, Volodymyr Romanenko, came up through football in the region himself and stepped in as caretaker before the job was made permanent.

Trostianets are the opponents that matter locally; the fixture goes by the Sumy Derby.

The founder was Artem Radionov, who also picked the first team and coached it for the opening six years before joining Dnipro-1.
