Fujieda responded after the break. K. Arima equalised in the fifty-first minute, catching Oita as they shuffled their structure. The hosts made two changes at the restart, bringing on S. Inoue and I. Oda, but the game remained balanced.
Substitutions followed a steady rhythm. Oita introduced Patrick Verhon in the sixty-seventh minute, then Matheus Leiria at seventy-three. Fujieda played both second-half replacements together at sixty minutes, then added Y. Kondo and R. Kawamoto in the eightieth. By then the match had found its shape.
The draw suits neither side entirely. Oita have won just once this season and their last five matches produced three draws and two losses. Fujieda won their most recent fixture 2:0 against Renofa Yamaguti, but this result breaks a run that had looked promising.
What matters is the pattern emerging in both boxes. Oita need more than draws to climb out of the bottom half, while Fujieda must convert their recent momentum into consistency. Eight minutes apart between goals decided everything.
