About the player
André Álvarez Pérez joined Malmö FF's academy at the age of eight as a centre-back. Rather than pushing straight for the first team, he has built his senior career through a series of loans, a route that has taken him to BK Olympic, Ålborg BK and, since February 2025, Landskrona BoIS.
His loan spell at BK Olympic in 2023 gave him his most significant taste of regular first-team football, with 21 appearances. The move to Ålborg BK the following year worked out differently: he made no appearances there, a reminder that not every loan produces game time. It was at Landskrona BoIS that the arrangement stuck. What began as a loan in February 2025 turned into a permanent contract in January 2026, when the club made his move definitive.
Álvarez Pérez holds dual Swedish and Chilean citizenship, and his development has not gone unnoticed at international level: he has represented Sweden at Under-19 level, collecting 19 caps for the age group.
