About the player
Amr Kaddoura was named in Palestine's squad for both the 2019 and the 2023 AFC Asian Cups, yet his club career has stayed close to where it began. The goalkeeper was born in Landskrona, came through the youth academy at Landskrona BoIS and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2014. Both Asian Cup call-ups came while he was playing his club football at Landskrona BoIS in Sweden.
The only time he left was on loan to Höganäs BK in 2015, a year after that first contract. There he played 23 matches in Division 2 Västra Götaland. Apart from that spell, his senior career has been spent entirely at Landskrona BoIS, and his contract there runs until 31 December 2027.
Kaddoura holds both Swedish and Palestinian citizenship and plays for the Palestine national team. His senior debut came on 1 December 2021 against Morocco at the FIFA Arab Cup, and he has won five caps since.
