About the player
Andreas Murbeck made his Allsvenskan debut for IK Sirius on 20 April 2024. He joined the club from Landskrona BoIS in February 2022. A serious knee injury soon afterwards kept him out for over 24 months.
The centre-back began at Furulunds IK in 2002 and moved to Malmö FF five years later. He stayed there until 2013. He then went to Denmark and FC Midtjylland, where he played in the U17 and U19 leagues. The club won the Danish U19 championship twice while he was there. In 2017 the U19 side named him its best player.
His senior career began at Skive IK, also in Denmark, and lasted a season. He came back to Sweden with Ljungskile SK and helped the team win promotion to Superettan. In 2021 he joined Landskrona BoIS, and the club named him its Player of the Year.
Murbeck returned to Landskrona BoIS in December 2024 on a two-year contract. An Achilles injury in March 2025 interrupted the new spell.
