Craig Farquhar

Craig Farquhar's route to English football's fifth tier began in Ballymena, where he came through the youth ranks at Ballymena United before making his senior debut for the club. A loan spell at Dundela followed, giving the young defender regular first-team football away from the Ballymena set-up, before he returned and eventually moved on to Larne in June 2023.

Larne proved a springboard rather than a destination. Farquhar made 27 appearances for the club without finding the net, form that was enough to earn him a move to Crystal Palace in January 2024. He never broke into the senior side at Selhurst Park, but featured 22 times for the under-21s during his time there. Released at the end of the 2025–26 season, he signed for Barnet in June 2026 in what was described as a short move from the south of the river, before being sent out on loan to Solihull Moors that August.

Farquhar's best moment in an international shirt came in his only appearance for Northern Ireland under-21s, when he scored the winning goal against Serbia in a UEFA U21 Championship qualifier in March 2024. Across his senior career so far, he has scored four goals in 58 appearances, with two of those coming during his time at Ballymena United and two more at Dundela.

A right-footed centre-back, he now finds himself out on loan again, this time at Solihull Moors.
