Liridon Latifi

Liridon Latifi was born in Pristina and came through Flamurtari's youth ranks before making his senior debut at FC Prishtina. The move that shaped his career came at the end of 2014, when he joined Skënderbeu Korçë on a free transfer and won back-to-back Albanian Superliga titles, contributing 21 goals across 76 league appearances in the process — a productive spell for a midfielder that helped earn him a €1 million transfer to Puskás Akadémia in 2017.

That move to Hungary was interrupted by a loan spell at Sheriff Tiraspol, before Latifi returned to Albania in 2021 to sign for Vllaznia Shkodër, where he added an Albanian Cup winner's medal to his collection. Spells at Tirana followed, and he joined Shkëndija Tetovo on a free transfer in August 2024 on a one-plus-one-year deal.

At international level, Latifi represented Albania at Under-19 and Under-21 level before earning five senior caps in 2017, having come on as a substitute in the 88th minute on his debut against Italy in a 2018 World Cup qualifier.

A right-footed midfielder who often plays on the right side, Latifi has built his career on moving between Kosovo, Albania, Hungary and Moldova, picking up domestic honours at two different Albanian clubs along the way.
