About the player
Nicholas Osei Bonsu has moved from Ghana to Moldova and then to Ukraine, and he reached Livyi Bereh on 5 September 2025 as a free agent. He began at home with Bibiani Gold Stars, where he made three appearances between 2021 and 2022.
His first real run of games came at Asante Kotoko. He joined them as a free agent on 23 August 2022. Kotoko had won the 2021–22 Ghana Premier League before he arrived, so he was not part of that title-winning squad. Over the next two seasons he played 36 league matches for them. He also appeared twice in the CAF Champions League.
In 2024 he left Ghana for the first time, joining Spartanii Sportul Selemet in Moldova. He played 32 matches in the Moldovan Super Liga there. He stayed until 2025, then moved on to Kyiv.
Livyi Bereh is his third country as a professional. Kotoko and Livyi Bereh both signed him without a transfer fee.
