Ola Brynhildsen

Ola Brynhildsen's name first travelled beyond Stabæk in 2019, when he scored a bicycle kick against Rosenborg that was voted Eliteserien's Goal of the Year. The strike came to define his breakthrough and pointed the way to a move up Norwegian football's ladder.

That move came in 2020, when Molde signed him. Three years at the club produced the biggest honours of his career to date: the Eliteserien title in 2022 and the Norwegian Cup the previous season. On the back of that form, Midtjylland brought him to Denmark, where he added a Superliga championship in 2023–24 and, later, a Danish Cup.

His time in Denmark also opened the door to Norway's national team. Brynhildsen made his debut in a friendly against Ireland in November 2022.

Not every step since has gone smoothly. A loan to Toronto FC in 2025 ended almost as soon as it began, cut short by an injury sustained in his first match for the club. He found sturdier ground back home instead, joining Bodø/Glimt on loan and helping the club to the Norwegian Football Cup. That spell convinced Bodø/Glimt to make the move permanent, signing him on a contract running to the summer of 2030.
