About the player
Roman Lisovskiy came to Vitebsk on loan and stayed. He arrived from Isloch in March 2021 and played 22 league games and four cup matches that season. He went back to Isloch in December, but Vitebsk signed him permanently the following January.
He grew up in Minsk football. He started at MTZ-RIPO under the coach Sergey Gornak, then moved to the BATE Borisov academy. In 2019 he won the Belarusian Premier League Reserves Championship with BATE, scoring once in 15 matches. Isloch signed him in February 2020. That autumn he played twice for Belarus at under-20 level.
His first season at Vitebsk as a permanent player, 2022, brought 23 Premier League matches and one assist. The next year the club played in the First Division, and Lisovskiy scored four goals in 22 matches. In 2024 he was back in the Premier League for 28 appearances, one goal and three assists.
Vitebsk extended his contract on 20 January 2025. He played 26 league matches that year, scoring once and providing one assist. In 2026 he has scored twice and set up one more in 20 games so far. He has made more than 100 appearances for the club, and his cup goals add three to his league total.
He has not yet played for the senior Belarus national team.
