Focusport

Focusport open the 2026–27 season in the top flight, Ligue 1, having won Pool A of Ligue 2 in 2025–26. They lost the Ligue 2 Super Cup final to AS Maya in May 2026, but promotion was already secured by the pool. Their opponents now include established Ouagadougou sides such as AS Douanes, US Ouagadougou and AS Ouagadougou. The club has no derby of its own yet.

The climb took two seasons. In 2024–25 they won the Ligue 3 Régional and Ligue 3 National Zone C, and added the Coupe de la Ligue in the same year. Izouma Sidibé founded the club in 2023 as its president. In March 2025 he signed a technical partnership with SL Benfica, which created the Benfica Campus Burkina Faso. Benfica supply the coaching staff, the methodology and the oversight, and keep priority on player transfers.

The academy side has produced results abroad. The club won the Tournoi International des Académies Benfica in Dubai in 2025, and its under-17 team took the Foot Mania International Youth Football Tournament in Portugal in 2026.

The best-known player in the first team is Didier Goho. He is a 19-year-old attacker who finished 2025–26 as Ligue 2's top scorer with 9 goals and 4 assists, and Benfica scouts have taken notice of him. Under the transfer agreement, Benfica hold first call on players like him.

Home matches are played 30 km from the capital, at the Stade Municipal de Ziniaré. Attendances there are low.
