Shkhunat Hatikva Stadium holds barely 2,570 people. Hapoel Kfar Shalem plays there: it was founded in 1957 by Ruchama Rosenbaum, once a player at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The club has never reached the top division and has never lifted the Israel State Cup; its honours board holds two Liga Alef titles, in 1964–65 and 1994–95, both won in what was then the second tier and is now ranked third. Between those spells it has shuttled up and down between Liga Alef and Liga Leumit, with promotions recorded again in 2007, 2020 and 2024.

The nickname HaKhtumim, worn in orange and black, ties the team visibly to Hapoel Tel Aviv.
